Little Girl

I made this layout using the Swirlyhues challenge at Swirlydoos. They always give you a sketch and some hues to work with and you must use at least one of their tutorials. I actually inverted the sketch to fit my picture and I used the Swirly Hibiscus flower tutorial by Lisa. I modified it a bit in the center because I didn't have the start burst punch she used. Instead I used leftover stems from another flower and added it to this one. I really like how the flower turned out. I love learning how to make new flowers with my Tattered florals die since I just bought it recently. I used papers from Kaisercraft Sweet Nothings for the layout and for the flower. I also used another tutorial by Lisa using corner punches. She made medallions out of paper and instead I used it all around the circle to make it look like a doily. I believe I've seen her do this tutorial too but I couldn't find where it was. I love all these Martha Stewart punches. I wished I would own them all. Finally I used these digital vine leaves provided by one of the DT members from Swirlydoos.

Materials used:
Papers: Kaisercraft Sweet nothings.
Flowers: Petaloo, Prima and Recollections
Martha Stewart punches
lace butterfly: Webster's pages
Journaling tag: Bonjour Kaisercraft
Glossy accents and pearl pen Icy White by Viva decorMiscellaneous: cheese cloth, gemstones, title.

Oh, my! this lo is so beautiful! great use of the colors palette.
I love your flowers. I also like to learn new ways to make my own flowers, but I don't have any die-cut machine or a cuttlebag, so I make them with punches and scissors...
